Divine Creation - Eternal Salvation
Eugéne Marais
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
God created man as the crown of His creation, intended to walk in harmony with Him on earth. Adam and Eve were made perfect, blameless and free from sin, with God breathing life into them. For those born again, this marked the creation of a soul dimension that will live eternally in heaven. However, those who die in sin will face eternal separation, living in hell.
Adam and Eve's sin, known as the fall of man, occurred when they ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, deceived by the serpent, Satan. This act had far-reaching consequences for humanity, and its effects are still felt today.
From that moment, mankind needed a saviour, as all authority and dominion fell into the hands of Satan. The enemy turned the world into his kingdom of darkness, and idolatry and godlessness soon spread across the earth. Jesus Christ, the eternal Saviour, came to redeem humanity from this kingdom of darkness through His precious blood.
